Benefits of Reflexology for Menopause
It can help with

Natural Hormone Balance
Reflexology works to support the endocrine system, which plays a key role in regulating hormones. Gentle pressure on specific reflex points can help your body find its natural rhythm, easing the hormonal fluctuations that often cause discomfort during menopause.
Hot Flushes & Night Sweats
Many women find reflexology helps to reduce the intensity and frequency of hot flushes and night sweats. By encouraging balance and calming the nervous system, it helps your body respond to internal temperature shifts more smoothly.
Improved Sleep
Insomnia is a common struggle during menopause. Reflexology can help calm an overactive mind, release physical tension, and ease your body into rest. Many clients say they sleep more deeply after sessions — and wake feeling more refreshed.
Digestion & Metabolism
By stimulating reflex points that link to the lymphatic and digestive systems, reflexology can help reduce feelings of heaviness, bloating, and sluggishness — gently encouraging your body’s natural detox process.
Joint Pain & Muscle Tension
Declining estrogen — can lead to increased inflammation and joint stiffness. Reflexology helps by improving circulation, encouraging lymphatic drainage, and supporting the body’s natural anti-inflammatory processes.
Grounding & Reconnection
Menopause is more than physical — it’s an emotional and spiritual shift too. Reflexology provides a safe, grounding space where you can pause, breathe, and come back to yourself. You don’t have to go through this season alone.

Understanding the Menopause Transition
Menopause is a natural biological process — but it can still bring a wide range of physical and emotional challenges. It’s often misunderstood, and many women feel unsupported or confused about what’s happening in their bodies.

Perimenopause is the phase leading up to menopause. It can begin several years before your periods stop completely, typically in your 40s (but sometimes earlier). During this time, your levels of estrogen and progesterone fluctuate, often causing symptoms that can affect your day-to-day wellbeing.

Menopause itself is confirmed after 12 consecutive months without a period. At this stage, hormone production stabilises at lower levels, but the body may still be adjusting — and symptoms can continue into the post-menopausal years.
When Should You Start Reflexology?
You can begin reflexology at any stage—whether you’re just starting to notice changes, in the middle of menopause, or well into the postmenopausal phase. The benefits build over time, so regular sessions often bring the most noticeable results.

Some women choose to combine reflexology with other natural approaches such as nutrition, gentle movement, herbal support, or mindfulness practices. Reflexology complements these beautifully, offering an additional layer of support.

Menopause is not an illness—it’s a transition. But that doesn’t mean you have to struggle through it alone or in silence. Reflexology offers a gentle, supportive, and nurturing way to help you feel more like yourself again.

A Gentle, Supportive Space
Each reflexology session is tailored to your needs. Whether you’re feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, or just looking for a way to care for yourself during this transition, reflexology provides a safe, nurturing space for you to relax and rebalance.

As a trained reflexologist, I take the time to listen to you, understand what you’re going through, and adjust each session to support your unique symptoms and experiences. Many of my clients tell me that reflexology is the one time they feel truly at ease, heard, and looked after.

If you’re looking for a natural approach to managing menopause symptoms, reflexology could be the helping hand you need. You deserve to feel balanced, calm, and connected to your body—and I’d love to support you on that journey.
"Menopause is an opportunity to gracefully let go of what no longer serves you and welcome in new possibilities."
